Typically, yeah. I've seen a few shinki on the network asking for other opinions on it in the past, and it seems like a lot of us will just pick some day that we'd like to set aside to celebrate anyway.

Which, if you wanted to celebrate something you didn't remember the day of, seems like as good of a way to do it as any.

Well...it'd be a lot easier if I had my memories. But the easiest one would be the day I arrived here. Still, I'd rather keep that as a separate anniversary, if I can.
Fall is my favorite season, if that helps?

By the way, Shiro's birthday is on February 29th. I know you said you aren't a fan of parties, but if you wouldn't mind helping me plan something...?

Fall's a good season. The leaves were changing to some pretty brilliant colors here starting in late October, if that sounds appealing at all.

I can do that. That should give us close to a couple of months to figure something out, I'm sure the two of us can put together something he'd like by then.

When you put some kind of importance on a day, that naturally makes it easier to remember. Anyone who wants to celebrate your birthday will remember it no matter what day you pick, I’d think. [That said, he’s definitely making a note of it in his phone’s calendar whenever she decides on one for certain.] The 30th sounds good, too.

Shiro’s the fourth god I’ve had. None of them have been terrible but that doesn’t mean they’ve all been great, either.

My first one basically told me he wasn’t invested in the idea of teamwork the day we met, and he disappeared without us getting a chance to fight together. The second one named me without any warning. [. . .] Futaba was pretty cool, though.

It’s in the past. The second one, his name was Lance, we at least ended up working together kind of well. It was just a rocky way to start.

All three of them disappeared. It happens sometimes, but no one can really figure out why as far as I can tell. You'll probably see it for yourself sooner or later.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'd learned about the disappearances, but I hadn't realized you'd gone through so many.

I'd be very sad if you or Shiro disappeared.

The sentiment is a little unexpected in it’s raw sincerity, and the pause in his reply this time mostly comes from trying to digest it.]
