Freezing bullets for Lance:
When bullets fired from the gun hit a target, the area surrounding the impact site is frozen in a splash of ice.
Root growth and infestation for Futaba Sakura:
When bullets fired from the gun that his vessel form takes pierce a target, the resulting hole is overtaken by a mass of roots that quickly grow and spread.
Air Current for Shiro:
A current of air flows around the blade of the sword, the size of which the god is able to control to some degree. It can be used defensively, acting as an invisible shield to deflect attacks with, and reduces wind resistance when swinging the blade. The current’s surface area can not exceed the general size of the god wielding it, but can be made smaller or toggled off completely, and cannot greatly extend past the god them self (i.e. cannot be projected to cover someone or something else that isn’t occupying space directly near the god).
Nightshade Poison for Pidge:
In instances of the blade being used to cut, the edge of it will secrete a highly concentrated form of nightshade poison. The poison can cause light sensitivity, confusion, hallucinations, loss of balance, as well as several other side effects. The poison made by the blade can only affect gods, shinki, and ayakashi, and will only take effect if the god wielding it strikes with the intention to harm. Near Shore beings cannot be harmed by the poison.

CAUSE OF DEATH:An alternate route taken in episode 5, where, when fighting Sendak, he ends up in the grip of the Galra's super enhanced prosthetic arm and crushed to such a degree that between the fight and its conclusion, there's no time to send him into a recovery pod before he succumbs to massive injuries caused by the resulting punctured lungs, broken ribs, internal bleeding, etc. He keeps fighting up until Sendak is disarmed and imprisoned, exacerbating his injures. It's messy and painful.
An alternate route taken in the episode 'The Black Paladins' where, following the fight between Shiro and Keith, the two are not saved by the black lion and, instead, fall a considerable height to the planet below their battleground. Keith makes an attempt to put himself between Shiro and the ground as a means of potentially breaking the other's fall, resulting in him hitting the surface first.
