[ we meme'd too hard on poor shiro.

pyrrha crouches down to get a better look at him, too. shiro's still breathing. he just looks like he's resting. ]

Not that I know of. We were both just on our way to our rooms, then...

And nothing seemed off about him right before that or anything...?

[He does appear to be breathing normally, if not perhaps deeply, slowly, like he’s really just... asleep. Very suddenly asleep?

Ah-!]

I think... I might know what’s happening. [But so soon after showing up? That’s... a little weird, isn’t it? Keith leans down, carefully pulling Shiro up onto one of his shoulders.] Take his other side, let’s get him into his room.

[incinerators]

No. Nothing at all.

[ pyrrha's very concerned about this, and then keith says he might have an idea. she looks at him with wide eyes, searching for an answer.

when keith hoists shiro up on his shoulder, pyrrha takes his other side. ]

Okay. [ and off to his room they go! ]

[yousaytron]

[It'll be easier to explain once they have him in a safe, comfortable location, he figures. To his bed they go, dropping him off carefully there.]

This kind of thing happens sometimes, for some reason... People will fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up with a bunch of new memories. Sometimes it'll take a few days, maybe longer.

[That's probably one of the more frustrating aspects of it, the uncertainty of it all. He lets out a short sigh, regarding Shiro with a small frown.]

If that's the case this time, [And it sure seems like it,] All we can really do is make sure he's safe until he wakes up.

[incinerators]

[ pyrrha lowers him slowly onto the bed, checking his pulse one more time. shiro's okay, still breathing. just...sleeping.

and apparently getting new memories in the process. ]

...Okay. [ she really hopes that's what's happening right now and that it isn't anything more serious. she's going to be worried sick for these next few days. ] I trust you.

[yousaytron]

[While he knows that she doesn't really have much of an option to do anything but trust his call on this, it still means quite a bit to him to hear it.]

If it makes you feel better, we can take turns watching over him. [Either way, Keith doesn't want to leave him alone for too long... It's bound to happen once in a while, probably, but he knows having someone looking after their god will take a load off his mind for sure.

Though, as if on cue, the cosmic wolf pokes his way into the room, coming up behind Pyrrha to see what's going on in here? Can he help? What's going on with Shiro??]

[ her response is immediate. she nods at keith despite looking so unsure about everything going on right now, but she'd feel even worse if she left shiro alone.

keith's wolf friend accidentally brushes against her leg, though, and pyrrha looks down. she gives the cosmic wolf some soft scritches on his head. ]

I think that'd be for the best. I... I know he may just be asleep, but I'd hate it if something terrible happened to him and we didn't know about it.

[yousaytron]

[The wolf likes the attention, clearly, though his attention is divided pretty thoroughly between the scritches and the situation at hand. He will lean lightly against Pyrrha, as if to help ease some of her worries.]

As long as he's in the temple, I don't think there's much that could really happen to him, to be completely honest. [If there were something worth worrying about, it'd probably be big enough to effect everyone inside.] Still, it'd be for the best. Just in case.

[incinerators]

[ he's soft, and pyrrha needs the comfort. what a good doggo. ]

I...yes. I agree. [ she just wants to be there for him, mostly. even if nothing bad will happen to him. ] How long do you think it'll be before he wakes up?

[yousaytron]

It could be just a day or two. [That's the best case scenario.] It could be longer. A week, maybe, at the longest? I haven't heard of it lasting much longer than that, anyway.

[He's pretty sure that was about how long Yona was out for...]

But he shouldn't need anything in that time, either. [So, you know, no reason to worry about getting him food or anything.]

[incinerators]

Okay. I'll be patient.

[ not like she has any other choice. but she trusts what keith's saying, and she briefly looks at shiro again before turning back to keith. ]

Do you want to keep watch first?

[yousaytron]

[At her question, Keith looks back down to Shiro, contemplative. He's tired. It's been a long day, but this whole thing definitely has the both of them rattled, and he's not sure that he's be able to actually rest with it still fresh on his mind.]

If you don't mind, [And he's sure she wouldn't,] it... might be better for the two of us to keep each other company to start with. [Leaving one or the other alone for an extended time would definitely make them stir-crazy right now. Even if they stay busy with something else, having the affirmation that someone a little more. Uh. Awake. Is in the same room should be a comfort.]
